Muninn is Odin’s ancient messenger bird who is responsible for sharing good news to the people. In a world of music where everything is starting to sound the same, Muninn’s goal is to send the “good news” of a wildly entertaining show, upbeat music, and crazy themes through our music.

The band comprises of 3 members. Joshua Bird – Lead singer and song writer. Josh is a country boy from Oklahoma. He is a wild spirit, and jumps the gun on every decision. Josh is known to possess the spirit of the dragon, he is wise, yet oh so ferocious. A wonderful friend to many. Joseph Carson – Guitarist. Joseph is the anchorman for BYU-TV. Joseph is known for his voice of gold and charming demeanor, but inside of him rages a wild demon whose only goal is to shred. Dave Long – Drummer. Dave is a master DJ from Florida who is known well in the Utah music scene as an event organizer. Dave is responsible, well-kept, and pleasant. However, a raging bull lives within him. It comes out spontaneously especially when drumming.

The band was formed by Joshua and Joseph meeting on their LDS missions in Taiwan, Taipei. Joshua mentioned just desire to move to Provo and make a band. Joseph said he would love to join as guitarist. The two have been together at heart ever since. Dave joined in January 2019 as the official drummer.

Every show that Muninn plays is a party, and is also a celebration of the fun-loving spirit that we all have within us. People take themselves way too seriously, and Muninn’s goal is to help wake people up from that. Come to a show, listen to us, follow our journey and find out. We’re just getting started.
